  After a lot of research, we decided on using Chantilly Cake shop to provide the cake for our son's 1st birthday party. We really wanted a Miami Hurricanes cake, and had found one on Pinterest we liked. We sent pictures to Melissa and she told us she would have it done Friday at 5:30 because his party was Saturday at 1PM. When we got the cake and got home, we noticed there was a mix up on the team colors. We tried to call them but they were already closed by that time so we left a message and thought that we would just have to use it for the party because there was no time left to get it fixed. Then the phone rang at 7:30 that night, and it was Melissa. She was very distraught at the thought the she messed up and this would affect such a special occasion, so she drove to our house in Ladson at 8:30 that night to pick it up and fix it! I was so surprised that someone would care so much about customer service and take so much pride in what they did. She fixed the cake that night and brought it back to our house the next morning at 10:30 along with some flowers! I tried offering some extra money for her troubles, but she refused it. Melissa is one of the nicest people I have ever done business with, and her professionalism is unmatched. I would highly recommend Chantilly Cake Shop and Melissa to anyone and everyone looking to get a cake made.
