  I'll start with saying, the food was pretty good to be bar food and very reasonably priced to be on King Street.
  
  The problem was the lack of service. I had friends visiting town for my birthday that were staying at a hotel near by. We decided to walk to Boone's to get some quick lunch before exploring downtown. The guy downstairs says we can sit anywhere. We decided to sit at the rooftop area because for some odd reason, it was warm out on a December.
  
  We walk outside to almost every table out there being dirty. We decide to sit at the least dirty table, that had a empty box of cigarettes, damp coasters and an empty mini bottle of alcohol on it. We ended up moving it to the bench next to us and went with the flow of the day. We sat there for about 20ish minutes talking to each other and realized that no server was coming out. We went inside to get a server and menus. When we asked for menus, the waitress (who was doing nothing) gave us 1 menu (to a group of 7 people) and went back to talking to the bartender. We then asked for another menu and she gave us one more. We ignored the attitude and put in for our drinks at the bar. Which were a mostly teas, water and one alcoholic beverage and proceeded to walk back to our table. We then walked back inside to put in our food order after the 7 of us shared 2 menus.
  
  After 25 minutes our food came out. We were eating and catching up, when a waiter came out to the rooftop area to smoke and then argue with someone on the phone. We ignore it and continue with our meal. I then hear him say "I'll call you back, these assholes up here have got to go". He then walks beside our table, picks up the empty mini-liquor bottle that was on the bench and said "This isn't cool, we could get in trouble for this!" and stormed back inside. Sitting there we wondered what was up.
  
  Not even 5 minutes later, the manager comes out with our checks and throws them on the table and says "Thank you for coming but you all have to leave right now. We don't allow outside alcohol and we could lose our liquor license for this. I'm asking you to leave, nicely. If you aren't gone in ten minutes, I'm calling the police."
  
  We were all shocked, paid our bills then left without a fuss. It was a very embarrassing situation for how much I talked the area up and for this to be a group of tourist first interaction with the locals, their establishment was filled with very disrespectful people.

  Met some friends there; I'm not much of a fan of bars but seemed like a decent place.

  Great selection of bourbon. Great people and conversations no matter when you go. Great drinks and attractive barbacks/ bouncers.
